Chantelle C Chic Sexy Plunge Review

Chantelle is a brand I usually don’t think about, just because they’re more expensive and less available than the full bust bras I’m used to. I do have some experience with them though. I used to have their C-Chic Demi bra when I first tried to find my size, and I really loved it. I got to try the C-Chic plunge last time I was in Nordstrom, in my usual 30FF size.

Look! Red! I’ve been dying for a red bra. The C-Chic plunge is an unlined three part cup with a full band.

You can see the texture on the fabric here. The straps are pretty wide, but the band is comfortable for my sub-30 ribcage.

This bra really surprised me with how minimizing it is! It gives a rounded, minimized shape. I’m surprised it isn’t advertised as a minimizer.

You can also see that the wires are too wide for me and that there’s empty space at the bottom of the cup due to lack of projection.

The gore doesn’t tack either.

Here’s what it looks like under a shirt.

I’m not a big fan of this shape. It looks squashed.

It’s a shame that I didn’t like this bra, because I really have been desperate for a red bra that fits. This shape just wasn’t for me.

  1. It is minimizing – I can wear the demi style of Chantelle but the plunge style does not work for my large 32F (UK) boobs.
